Precautions During COVID-19

With the outbreak and concern over COVID-19 (or Coronavirus), California authorities and San Diego local governments have asked businesses within the state to shorten or truncate hours in an attempt to limit person-to person interaction. Only ‘essential’ businesses should operate.

Many businesses have taken further precautions by maintaining an extra clean work/ customer environment. Of course there is the omnipresent rule of social distancing that individuals should practice. We thought it would be helpful for clients to know how we are doing our part to minimize the potential spread of Coronavirus.

Truncated Hours

In an attempt to limit the amount of people coming through our doors, and with that, customer interaction, we have been attempting to close early each day starting March 23rd.

We have made the decision to stay open at least part of the day because a) we serve many military members who are deploying/ returning home during this time and b) we consider our services to be ‘essential’ by general definition of what many governments have put forth. We are certainly in the logistics category, are automotive related, and offer service/ repair of vehicles. We also offer vehicle-related warehouse services.

Our goal is to close at 2pm each day. However, we will never leave a customer in a lurch. If they need their vehicle out of storage or need to turn their vehicle in for storage, we will ensure we will accommodate them.

If we are closed and your matter is urgent, please call us at our main number, Kevin Greene’s (General Manager) cell phone # is on the voicemail.

Cleanliness Measures

Given the reports that this virus can live on surfaces long after an infected person has touched them, we want to make sure we keep everything we can as clean as possible in our offices. This includes multiple cleanings daily, especially after a client has left and before another arrives.

Additionally we have procured hand wipes, ample amounts of Purell, and gloves. We will always use gloves during an incoming vehicle’s inspection. During the inspection process we are also aiming to wipe down most commonly touched surfaces, and in the coming weeks we will do the same for vehicles being removed from storage.

We will also use them during our cleaning of your car, as well as any interaction we have with it while it is in storage. We hope that these measures will help us do our part in the minimization of Coronavirus spread. As always, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
