Paint Burns and Car Covers
We’ve mentioned before how important it is to cover your car…we’ve also talked about why keeping your car clean, especially before storing, is paramount.
When combing the two, it is even more important…especially when storing your car outside.
We had a customer recently pickup his Jetta GLI from us with very nice 3 stage paint.
However, because he stored his car outdoor and the car was not the cleanest upon arrival, the movement of the cover during storage caused a slight paint burn.
Luckily we were able to remove it, but there would have been less damage if the car’s paint were properly cleaned and cared for.
